ASN and Nationalities Papers at 50

Friday May 6, 12.30-1.50 PM

The Association for the Studies of Nationalities (ASN), and its journal Nationalities Papers, celebrate their 50th anniversary. ASN was founded in 1972 by a group of Ukrainian-American scholars (who earlier fled the Soviet aggression of Western Ukraine during World War II) affiliated with the Shevchenko Society in New York. Join us for a celebration of this milestone with short presentations by:

Michael Rywkin (ASN co-founder and former President)

Harris Mylonas (Nationalities Papers Editor)

Dominique Arel (ASN Convention Director and former President)

Sherrill Stroschein (ASN Board and former Harriman PhD student)

Florian Bieber (ASN President and former NP Editor)

Zsuzsa Csergo (Virtual ASN Director and former ASN President)
