Novaya
Russia, 2019 (75 min.)

A look behind the scenes of Novaya Gazeta, one of the largest independent newspapers in Russia. Since 2000, the newspaper has lost six of its members. Over the course of 18 months, the film records how journalists choose their subjects, and how they respond to the sudden kidnapping of one of their editors. How close is the boundary of the search for truth in Russia, one whose crossing can endanger your own life or the lives of others?
